ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
ZBRA is a great example of what can happen when two multi-talented musicians come together to compose a body of music that is rhythmic, jazzy, while incorporating years of jamming techniques and touring stamina. ZBRA spotlights the melodic guitar mastery of Stevan Pasero and the percussive prowess of Christopher Bock in a CD that gained strong radio airplay nationwide. This features an all-star cast of musicians such as Kai Eckhardt on bass, Dave Bendigkeit on flugelhorn & trumpet, Paul Potyen on keyboards. This CD (as well as the Songs for the Wild CD) is quite a departure from Stevan’s typical acoustic guitar (classical) work, yet has been applauded for its smooth, cool, adult contemporary sound. Stevan’s artistic career spans classical, jazz, world and Latin styles. Typically this versatility could alienate loyal fans, yet it seems that listeners worldwide have embraced Stevan’s multi-faceted interests as his recordings have sold millions and millions internationally.
ARTIST NOTES: Stevan Pasero is known worldwide as one of the most influential and versatile guitarists/composers of the past decade. Guitar aficionados love him, fans around the world are loyal to his music, critics praise his musicianship, while his recordings have sold millions. Mr. Pasero is featured on numerous recordings, has transcribed over 30 major symphonic works, produced more than 250 studio recordings and has composed well over 1000 pieces for solo and ensemble.
