ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
'Hard Falls The Rain' is a power ballad extraordaire... all who heard it were blown away by my vocal especially the last 30 seconds. Many who could hear and feel the emotion in it were moved to tears. I believe it is my best singing in the sense of the power of that particular pure emotion/ pain/ devestation for the loss of a desperately needed and missed loved one. The last 30 seconds were in fact ad-lib, as I was so in the songs emotion and not thinking but totally feeling I was told to just go with and carry on. This led to the heartrending way I sang '"hard" and "love", near the end of the song. This is why it is as long as it is, but still very well-rounded. It is admittedly a homage by the guitarist to Edge from U2 and clearly of the late 80s just prior to my becoming severely incapacitated, but it was such a great song and special performance I believe it deserves a hearing, a life of its own and could still become the classic it would have been had fate been kinder to me at that time and it had been released as intended: certainly when my story is published. This is why it means so much to me to get it out finally, knowing what I have fought through to get to this day and why I am so grateful and thankful for CDBaby.
