Album Notes
Steve is an acoustic fingerstyle instrumentalist from south east England. His music is described as both melodic and emotive with a British/Celtic folk influence.

His first CD release ‘a few tunes (part 1)’ released on Gobbledegook Music has been played on BBC Radio 3’s ‘Late Junction’ and has received praise from numerous sources, including – ‘Solid Air Records’, ‘Old Bridge Music’ and ‘Bridge Guitar Reviews’. He is also featured in the players gallery on Brook Guitars website. Main guitars played are a Brook Taw from the renowned guitar makers at Brook Guitars in Devon England, and a Lowden LSE-11 which is mainly used for open tunings such as DADGAD.

Acoustic Delight
This album is a delight. With just one acoustic guitar and wanting nothing more there are some truly haunting melodies. My particular favorite is Ticket to Ride, which is a really well thought out and captivating arrangement that adds an interesting dimension to a familiar song. Love of My Life is another simply beautiful arrangement that gives a well known tune new life and I could go on. As this album is referred as Part 1, I am looking forward to Part 2.
