It's hard to comment on your own music - the best I can do is say that it's in the neoclassical style - solo acoustic mandolin with a little reverb thrown in. Great for devotion or sipping your favorite beverage with. When recording this songs, the notes came effortlessly - straight from somewhere deep in my spirit. Here is some more feedback from other folks:
Unsolicited feedback on my music in general: "One of the reasons I like your work is because it is thoughtful, evocative, and insightful."
Another comment: "...those sent with this e-mail I could "flip around" and listen to "pieces": of one right after the other and could indeed hear and feel the subtle differences, all very pleasing. I also could certainly tell the difference in the sound with your new instrument. Great job on all of these, soothing and relaxing."
"Thank you so much for sharing this with me. Both your words and music were a great comfort to me this morning as I was sitting here berating myself for some bad career choices I've made in the last few years."
One more, "Steve has done some nice work here, I hope all of you will have time to check it out sometime. Very serene and introspective."
Finally: "Clarkson's mandolin has a hypnotic, easygoing pull that creates a peaceful nighttime vibe."
