Album Notes
The project started when I invited my friend Jah Cub to my house in the dead of winter. He wrote fifty songs on a acoustic guitar, bass, keys and Harmonium. I then sang over them. We took the best nine songs and drove them down to Santa Cruz, Ca. I gathered together some musician friends and rented a studio for two days. We laid down a rough cut and only kept the drum tracks. We took that to a studio in Oakland, Ca. Doyle Johnson and his studio Fo Way entertainment helped me orchestrate professional musicians to finish and polish the album. It took two years. I would like to thank, Jah Cub(composition), Waddell Bell(bass), Lou Newburger(drums), Ronnie Ray(guitar), Rocker-T(keys, percussion, back up vocals), Mykah Montgomery(back up vocals), and Doyle Johnson(engineer).
