It's About Time!

by String of Pearls

Retro-swing music with three-voice jazz vocal harmonies singing cool arrangements of classics songs from the 50's & 60's with a smokin' six piece band. Think a little Lambert, Hendricks & Ross and some harmonies ala Manhattan Transfer.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This recording began in 1995, was brought back to life in 2009 and completed in 2013.  Since String of Pearls began in West Los Angeles during the Summer of 1981, we have had one arranger (Perry), two girls (Katheryne, Tracy Royce and Katheryne again), three tenors (Larry Duplechan, Scott Wojahn and mostly Warren), lots of amazing musicians (mostly The Horn Band), one choreographer (Marilee Bradford), two artistic directors (David Levy then Marilee), and several mixers/producers (Billy Mitchell, Randy Tobin and mostly Glenn on this one).  This project is indebted to them all.  Thanks to the band (Jeff, Randy, Rod, Frank, Billy & Stacy (God rest her soul) for always being inspiring. Thanks Glenn, for your superb work putting this puzzle together and for making us sound amazing!  Thanks to God for everything; for our families, for understanding and for listening to our hearts.  Bravo, hallelujah! String of Pearls
