Stuart Green is on the faculty of the University of Redlands and also California State University San Bernardino. His first recording "Recuerdo Triste: The Guitar Works of Trinidad Huerta" was highly praised by both Soundboard Magazine and also the historical website www.earlyromanticguitar.com. The recording featured the solo guitar works of Trinidad Huerta who was a Spanish guitarist/composer in the early 19th century.
Since 2000, Stuart has been focused almost solely on the guitar music of Robert de Visee and its interpretation and performance. This recording attempts to capture the vitality and beauty of his music and is being presented in three volumes. Volume I contains Suites I-IV, Volumes II and III contain Suites V-VIII and IX-XII, respectively. Volume III will not be expected for release until perhaps 2016.
Stuart received his B.M. and M.M. in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Redlands in Redlands, California U.S.A. His teacher was Terry Graves, a founding member of the internationally acclaimed Falla Guitar Trio. He has had additional classes with Kenton Youngstrom, Dusan Bogdanovic, Juan Serrano, and Christopher Parkening.
