ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The nine pieces that have found their way onto this album are strikingly diverse, mostly because of the equally diverse ways in which they came into being. Each song boasts at least two creators; every imaginable variant of songwriting and arranging was tested out: putting lyrics to an instrumental piece, putting music to lyrics, completely rearranging one song, reorchestrating another . . .
Many of the compositions and almost all of the lyrics are from Nika Zach. Then again, some aren't; as a matter of fact, some were completely foreign to her. In order to confuse things still further, many of the compositions have also been renamed.
