Summer Osborne is a lyric-driven singer/songwriter from St. Louis, MO. You can describe her music as folk soul, acoustic rock, and piano pop… with glimpses of jazz, blues, and roots music. You can reveal that she has power vocals and is an artful storyteller. However, you cannot confine her to a genre. You will laugh, you will cry, you will feel, you will enjoy yourself. Come join the adventure to feel better!! It is the evolution of the soul – one song at a time.
Summer Osborne has been on stage since four, but has been performing her original tunes for fans since 2005. During that time, lyrics and melodies have been continuously flowing through her, resulting in six full albums and an EP. Her much-anticipated newest album, As I Am, is set for release in June of 2013.
Since deciding to focus on her musical career (performing and writing) full time in 2009, Summer has remained on tour, doing shows at venues and festivals. Her song “Be Still,” from her latest album, The Scenic Route, earned a RightOut TV award for Best Jazz song of 2012. Summer played at National Women’s Music Festival in 2012, and SXSW in 2012 and 2013. She has played music at Pridefests all over the Mid-West US & Canada, including: Pridefest St. Louis (2005-2012); Vancouver Pride – British Columbia, Canada (2011); Mid-MO Pride – Columbia, MO (2011 and 2012); Halifax Pride - Nova Scotia, Canada (2010); Mid-South Pride - Memphis, TN (2005, 2010 and 2011); Springfield Pride - Springfield, MO (2009); Kentuckiana Pride - Lexington, KY (2009); Metro East Pride - Belleville, IL (2008, 2011 and 2012).
