ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I am so pleased to have " Into the Midnight Waltz" available with Cd Baby. This collection is the result of night shift work and lonesome ponderings. With this album I have been able to honor my grandparents with doing a few of their favorate songs, Waiting For A Train, and His Eye Is On The Sparrow. The rest of the songs are songs that have come to me mostly in the night when the muse is most friendly. There is also a Tom Waits song I do that joins this mix. The songs are about brothers, children, parents, grandparents, lovers. strangers, and the sun and the moon and the stars and oh, yes cars.............It is sweet and sad in three quarter time......Recorded mostly live with a few tracks added.

More to come on the Bio, untill then try my website

a voice as rich as chocolate and strawberries
I have been a big fan of Susan's for years. Her voice pulls you in and her stories allow you to look behind the shadows. Richard's Tune will tug on your heart strings.
I love this CD. It's a must have for any collection. It's always with me on long road trips.

tears in my eyes from the beauty of the songs
I was so taken away to a quiet restful place as soon as I popped the cd in. Susan, your songs are beautiful and what a nice tribute to your grandparents. Your voice is strong and your heart is on the surface of these wonderfully done songs. I enjoyed it so much!
