Album Notes
Swig Marinade's energized twisted pop debut is designed to seduce with exuberant catchy hooks!

This is the first Swig Marinade album, the work of songwriter, singer and guitarist Michael A. Abcede. I have been a songwriter since the 1990s and a musician since 1984. I have been making home recordings of my music since the late 80s using old school tape cassettes. Swig Marinade is a solo project...there are no other musicians on these recordings. My main influences are The Beatles, The Kinks and David Bowie but I'm sure you will hear bits of other artists in there too.

The songs are for the most part works of fiction. I generally do not write confessional autobiographical material. Some of the songs are humorous and grotesque distortions of parts of my personality. If some of the tracks make you laugh then I have succeeded in my mission!

Happy listening and thanks for stopping by!
