Album Notes
Amidst bludgeoning hardcore metal, a slice of melodic, emotional solicitude cuts through.

Within the context of heavy metal music, Syx exerts a blend of passionate, poetic lyricism and intense vocalization throughout their songs.

Driving bass lines and crashing guitars form the essence of their sounds, while quaking drums and funky hip hop beats makes the foundation for their unique music.

Despite the release of their new CD EP, "Underneath the Surface," Syx's style continues to evolve into a more defined and edgier sound.

Although the CD features two guitarists, a lineup change within the band has revealed a sleeker, tighter core to Syx's music.

This is a very genius cd. I saw these guys perform live and they sound even better live then the cd gives them credit! I have a lot of hope and properity for this band. go out and get a copy of underneath the surface. you will be blown away, expect to hear more of SYX.

This album seems to be a little bit raw compared to their two other albums, that appeared later.
