ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
After many years of conceptual existence, Take No Damage was officially born in early 2005 in response to the impending apocalypse. Their music is a seamlessly eclectic style often referred to as "poppy-electro- folk-death-hop", which is really just a stupidly longwinded way of saying that they're hard to classify. Classifications aside, Take No Damage march happily through the end days to the soundtrack of their imminent doom, and the apocalypse has never sounded so good. With their intentionally jumbled mix of live and electronic drums, synthesizers, guitar, bass, samples, and dual-layered vocals, the band has managed to create their own impressive style of experimental pop music.

Mushroom Clouds
Be sure to get a seat on the bus with these guys to enjoy the ride into the nightmare of our future. Not since early Pere Ubu (also from Ohio) has a band nailed the descent into technological decay and the creeping subconscious with such eerie accuracy. And yet they let in lots of light and humour while their about it. 'Sunshine Technology' is the stand out track in my humble opinion but the whole album is nothing short of masterful. See you on the doom bus!
