ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
During the summer of 2012, after living in New York for roughly 10 years as a pianist & composer, and after working on many different music projects, I thought of starting an authentic jazz piano trio. That's when I met two great musicians, bassist Daniel Ori and drummer Rob Garcia. Timely enough, Faust Harrison Pianos in New York offered me a concert and a great piano, a Yamaha CFX.

All numbers are my original, ranging from 17 years to 3 days old. Each song has it's own story for telling. It's my pleasure and great honor to invite all of you to this wonderful journey of music.

Takeshi Asai, August 6, 2012
