Album Notes
About the Group TATCHO DROM:

Led by fiddle virtuoso Gundula Gruen, Tatcho Drom draw their inspiration from the music of the Romany Gypsies whose passionate performances have been legendary for centuries.

Tatcho Drom’s powerful live performances range from nuanced and subtle to virtuosic and brilliant. They have appeared at the South Bank Centre and Royal Albert Hall, as well as at the Corsham and Rhythms of the World festivals. They have been featured on radio and TV programmes in both the UK and abroad.

About the album:
THE DEVIL'S LENTIL SOUP combines ancient music with contemporary arrangements and compositions, magical dreams with modern reality. Its music captures the earthy energy of folk and inflects it with the voices of classical, contemporary and jazz.
