ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Taylor and 9th got together in January of 2002 after brothers Nelvid and Nubal Vidal along with Mario Lima, who played in a reggae garage band, joined with Anthony Baucom and Chris Trujillo and rented a practice studio in downtown San Jose on the corner of Taylor and 9th. With Nelvid, Chris and Mario all being experienced drummers and percussion teachers that have played together since adolescence, the band’s percussive energy and chemistry between the players makes for an very entertaining show.

The band recorded an album called “Deep” with 18 tracks of musical fusion which brings a very unique sound to the band. The band is working on the second album which promises to be even more exciting than the first. Taylor & 9th, more than a location but a vibration.
