ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
They Came Bearing Arms was formed in the summer of 2009 in Louisville, KY. They were offered a show from the city's primary booking agent completely out of the blue after having only practiced for several months. That show marked the day TCBA burst onto the scene. Since then TCBA has played several shows in the Kentucky/Indiana area, and have recorded a 5 song EP which was released in May of 2010.
TCBA combines several of their favorite aspects of music into one "hybrid" genre. Some of their greatest influences include August Burns Red, A Day to Remember, Parkway Drive, and The Devil Wears Prada. Their main goal is to combine intricate guitar riffs, heavy breakdowns, in your face screaming vocals, and melodic clean vocals into a well rounded, listenable song structure thats not too simple, nor too progressive.
