Terrence Farrell is one of the world's most sought-after classical guitarists, winning international acclaim for his concerts, television appearances, and recordings. Born in Salzburg, Austria, Mr. Farrell began studying the guitar at the age of eight and eventually became the protege of American guitarist Guy Horn, He has since gone on to international acclaim winning awards and competitions from the National Endowment for the Arts, University of Washington, the Palm Springs Opera Guild and the Monterey Jazz Festival along the way. The depth, grace, and elegance of his interpretations have moved audiences and critics alike. See what the press has to say on the Reviews page.

His ease and rapport with his audiences has made his performances particularly popular. Leading to invitations to play in forty-eight states and thirty-four countries around the world, from the America’s to Europe and the Far East. He has twice performed for American presidents and has been a featured performer on the world cruise of the QEII.

As a "cultural ambassador" to the United States, Farrell often tours for the U.S. State Department presenting American music and culture to foreign audiences.

Farrell’s music has been used for commercials in the United States and Europe including U.P.S. His composition, Gypsy Serenade, was featured on a Big Sur audio tour narrated by Clint Eastwood.

Mr. Farrell's critically praised recordings for Orion and Troubadour can be sampled on his CD page along with his DVD, Terrence Farrell – Guitarist, features a pictorial journey around the world with some of his musical renditions and his photos.

In 2009 he was lauded for his "virtuoso” performance as the lead guitarist in the acclaimed revival of the musical Man of La Mancha in which the whole orchestra was distilled down to two guitars. He has also performed on the Baroque Guitar music of the Mexican Baroque for the Carmel Bach Festival. Mr. Farrell is the accompanist for the renowned Spanish Flamenco Dancer Alicia Morena de la Palma.

His newest album Soul of Spain is the culmination of a lifetime playing the Spanish classics. It’s a riveting performance that has inspired the critics to write that he has:
