Waazobia has a unique world experience and a crowd favorite musically and personally in the State of Texas. The band has performed in the following cities: Corpus Christi, El Paso, Lubbock, Arlington, San Antonio, South Padre Island, Galveston, New Orleans, Dallas, Austin and Oklahoma. Had this band migrated to Europe or the West Coast (USA) their effort in the Lone Star would have earned and then international recognition. Waazobia is a Houston based true Rasta Reggae Band, which has been in existence since 1986. The band consist of members from the African Continent and USA.

In 1994 the band released a "Seeds of Democracy" CD and tapes and is back with the New CD entitiled "Let the Goodtime Roll"
The word "WAAZOBIA" (in the three different African languages)" means

WAA - means "come" in Yoruba

ZO - means "come" in HAUSA

BIA - means "come" in IBO
