ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Howdy. I'm Tex Parker, the Singing Cowboy from La Grange, Texas, a small town FAMOUS for pretty girls and poultry products, home of the Chicken Ranch, as seen in the movie, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. starring Dolly Parton.
We haven't seen Dolly in La Grange lately. Some suspect her careers may have sagged.
This album is the sound track from the play; Adventures of Tex; The Last Little Whorehouse in Texas, and what happened in our beautiful little town after the Ranch was shut down.
Three unemployed whores and me. all seeking a better life.
/ Betty Lou. Bobby Sue and the always delicious and dangerous Barbi Que and me, along with some of Austin, Texas' finest musicians and singers tell, in song, story and comedy, this delightful and entertaining tale. 38 minutes long, it's the World's Greatest Road Trip Album, perfect for hearing in your car while driving or stuck in traffic.
Or, play it while jogging or washing dishes, or whatever else it is you do for fun or work.
Buy it for yourself or a friend.
The 15 minute comedy monologue at the end, Live at the Bugle Boy, will leave you laughing and wanting more.
La Grange is a great little town. Progressive, but cheap. The other day, I went down to our brand new library. It was closed./ Someone had checked out our book.
Then, I went over to our brand new strip club. It was closed. The fire department was using our pole.
Buy an album and come visit me La Grange. I'm in the book. My phone number is 4.

As Always, Love from La Grange,
Your Singing Cowboy,
Tex Parker
