ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Popularly celebrated for her five seasons on Queer as Folk, Thea Gill is also an accomplished jazz and cabaret singer. In Eighteen she portrays Hannah, a World War II-era chanteuse who sings In a Heartbeat for the troops before they're shipped off to France. Composer Bramwell Tovey is a modern orchestral maestro: a gifted conductor, music director, much-published composer, pianist, and Grammy winner. Co-lyricist Richard Bell wrote and directed Eighteen, and was later nominated for a Genie Award, with Tovey, for Best Original Song.
