ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
10 original songs from The Animal Band's wildly successful touring show "Jungle All The Way". Executive Producer - Jim Moore, Produced by - Bryan Cumming, and Mark Horwitz. recorded at Studio 23, and other studios in Nashville, TN.

1. I Want a Tree - is a spicey Cajun flavored romp that chronicles a family's annual adventure of shopping for the perfect Christmas tree. The song features "King of Cajun" accordian master / Grammy Nominee - Jo-EL Sonnier, stirring in some tasty accordian throughout this foot stompin' tune. Songwriters: Jim Moore, Catesby Jones

2. Birthday Party on Manger Street - Ever wonder what the animals in the Manger did on the first Christmas day? They threw a party like you've never seen before and brought some animal-made gifts. One of the most popular songs of the season. Songwriters: Jim Moore, Catesby Jones

3. It Snowed Last Night - This song will magically transport you back to a snow-covered day, and the excitement of hearing the words "no school today!" This always meant a fun day full of building snowmen, snowball fights, sledding, and spending the day with neighborhood friends. Songwriters: Jim Moore, Bryan Cumming

4. The Reindeer Shuffle - It's always Christmas time at the North Pole, and with everyone making toys at a frantic pace, they need a little stress reliever so they create a toe-tapping dance. Follow Saint Nick as his sled is loaded and he delivers "big bags of presents, and sacks of sweets". Songwriters: Jim Moore, Tom Kimmel

5. The Giving Season - Jim Moore tells a story based on his childhood when he invited a lonely old man to share Christmas dinner with his family. This tender, intriguing story will inspire everyone to "share a llitle of your love". Songwriters: Jim Moore, Catesby Jones

6. Seven Days of Christmas - A hilarious parody on the Christmas classic "Twelve Days of Christmas" but this fun tune gets it done in just seven days. Full of unique sound effects and a chance for some participatory dynamics. Songwriter: Jim Moore (lyrics) traditional

7. Mr. Christmas - This fun song proves "there's someone special for everbody"....no matter how quirky. Mr. Christmas is a man that runs a year-round' Christmas shop and unexpectedly meets the "love of his life" Christmas Eve. Songwriters: Jim Moore, Don Henry

8. On Our Christmas Tree - Songwriter Jim Moore allows a personal glimpse into his family life by sharing some personal moments that will connect with parents watching their kids grow up. The Christmas tree reveals family history with special ornaments that identify each child's age and the promise that "when the kids are grown, with kids of their own, we'll still have the memories, in our Golden years, they'll still be here.... on our Christmas Tree". Songwriters: Jim Moore, Catesby Jones

9. She's Always There for Me - A truly unique and one-of-a-kind song that reveals sweet thoughts about the personal life of Santa and Mrs. Claus through Santa's warm perspective. Songwriters: Jim Moore, Steven McClintock.

10. I Can't Wait Anymore - A rockin' tune about anticipation of Christmas morning. All the gifts have been piling up under the tree and sometimes it's just impossible not to touch, and shake the gifts to try and guess what treasure is wrapped in the box. Songwriters: Jim Moore, Dave Kinnoin.

Another Hit - Where Have These Guys Been?
I've been to countless live shows, seen them on tv, went to see their movie and then poof ...they disappeared. Now they suddenly appear with a KILLER Christmas album. I always wondered why they never recorded these great songs from their Christmas show. I'm laughing during one song, and then wiping tears from my eyes during another one. Timeless?? ...YES! ...3 generations of my family love this band. Jim Moore...YOU ROCK!

Love the Band....The Title....The Songs!
A fan since the mid 90's. Very few artists have the ability to appeal to such a wide age range. Typical Animal Band creativity..out the roof! The lyrics and melodies are very clever and stick to your mind like super glue. Take a look at the writing credits ...some of the country's best songwriters...including Mr. Animal Band himself...Jim Moore. The opening cut "I Want a Tree" written by Jones/Moore, is a rockin' Cajun frolic with a guest appearance by Cajun recording artist/accordionist.. Jo-EL Sonnier. Just when you find yourself laughing and singing along with one of the fun songs...suddenly... you hit a brick wall of emotions as storyteller Jim Moore pulls your heart into the storyline of "The Giving Season". This song tells the story of a youngster who befriends a lonely old man and learns a life-lesson. The Don Henry/Jim Moore penned "Mr. Christmas" , is simply ...HILARIOUS, and offers proof that no matter how quirky you are, ...there's someone ...for everybody! Moore wears his heart out on his sleeve with the tender "On Our Christmas Tree", Jones/Moore. His emotional delivery of this song, hints that it was inspired by a very personal moment. I'll never look at my Christmas tree again without realizing that the ornaments we hang then carefully pack away each year, represent time passages...watching the kids grow up. One of the most interesting tunes, "She's Always There for Me", written by McClintock/Moore, allows a rare glimpse of the personal relationship between Santa & Mrs Claus. Look for this tune to show up on an array of other artist's albums in the future. From beginning to end this album is a big winner and it couldn't happen to a better bunch of folks...er animals!

First Christmas Album I've Bought in Years!
I haven't bought a Christmas album in years ... mainly because most of them are boring! This album was so tempting that I had to buy it and I've been listening to Christmas songs for the past 2 days ..and it's only September! These songs brought back some wonderful memories. Can't wait to share this with my grandkids.

"Jungle All The Way" is great !
Each song tells a story that you can see in your mind as you listen to the song. Some are sentimental, some are funny, but each story is set to a "catchy" tune. If you've always dreaded hearing the "Twelve Days of Christmas", you'll enjoy the condensed version of the "Seven Days of Christmas".

A Christmas CD with meaning
Here is a collection of songs that will touch your heart, bring a smile to your face, and will be loved by your entire family, no matter what the age. The Animal Band Christmas album should be on every wish list this year. Thanks, Animal Band, for making my holiday!

Jungle All The Way
This album is great. The words are easily understood and each song tells a story that pulls at your emotions. Tender, funny, and all sides of Christmas are touched on. If you've always hated the "12 Days of Christmas", you will really get a kick out of the condensed version on this album. Buy it and ENJOY !!!

The Animal Band Christmas - Jungle All The Way
Not a big fan of Christmas music ....but...this album is not your typical holiday fare. I've followed this band for many years, and love what they do. This is a beautiful project, great production, some of the best Christmas songs you've never heard ...unless you've had the pleasure of attending an Animal Band show. Saw them twice in Vegas, and they had the audiences anticipating every single moment. Put this album at the top of your Christmas list. I now own a Christmas album!
