ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
THE BOOZE BROS. started out in 1997. Doing their originals under the name"Dogtag", they changed their name when it came to play parties´n stuff and really entertain people: THE BOOZE BROS. was just the right name for that. Since then the band has played hundreds of gigs, some together with the likes of The Busters, The Climax Blues Band, Bonfire, Sasha etc. In 2007, they decided to record some of their cover stuff in the style of the MTV unplugged concerts. The album was called “One fo´ the money” and received good reviews from the critics. In the summer of 2012, THE BOOZE BROS. - who are still plowing through the country, playing gigs, doing their thing - find time to record the successor to “One fo´ the money”. They lock themselves away for three weeks and start to reshape a selection of 17 Rock classics, which gained qualification by helping the band members through puberty. The goal is – as it was already for “One fo ´the money” – to keep the original feeling of the songs while only using acoustic instruments. For the first time in their career, they add strings and horns (and several other things you don´t want to know about) in order to pimp the material. Indeed the new album sounds a little bit more grown-up than its predecessor. It´s a child´s play when it comes to find an album title. THE BOOZE BROS. simply stick to Mr. Carl Perkins and call their new baby “…two fo´ the show”.
