Album Notes
Dance of the Gypsies is a collection of original music performed on fiddle, mandolin, mandola, guitar and string bass with some accordian and 5 string banjo. Shelby Eicher composed 11 tunes and the 12th was penned by Isaac Eicher. Shelby has been in the music business 40 years and has worked with some greats: Roy Clark, J. J. Cale and Leon McAuliffe to name a few. Isaac is a national mandolin champion and a phenom of a talent. Nathan with his masters in Jazz holds down the bass chair and Paul plays rhythm guitar. Featured on 2 tunes is guitar great Pat Kelley along Gypsy guitarist Ivan Pena.
