ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Grinding since 2000, Fort Worth, TX natives Crim (Emmitt Walker) and Redwine (Douglas Redwine), collectively known as FM is bringing the heat once more with their latest release, "Worldly Music" on CrimSoul Records. "We didn't make our music exclusively for the folks at church", said Redwine. "That's why we named this album "Worldly Music" because that's who we wanna talk to...the world".

The FM believes that music is the universal language the whole world speaks and therefore is the perfect medium for communicating a positive message to the masses. "Along with our personal desires we can look back now and see how our interest in certain things such as smoking weed, being sexually promiscuous, jacking, drinking and whatever was further persuaded by the music we were banging, so we just believe we can have that same affect on people, now only positively." says Crim. The FM now chose to use their God given musical talent for writing lyrics and performing to enlighten and uplift their peers and all hip-hop music lovers alike. The duo feels there is a creative and positive void missing in today's music and strive to create high-quality music that will grab the attention of the mainstream and reach those who wouldn't normally search for an alternative to the norm.

The duo has performed for tens of thousands of people over the years and put it down on the same bill as heavyweight Christian artist such as T-bone, News Boys, Lil'Raskul and Dooney to name a few. FM has also been a featured guest on the Acquire the Fire Tour and was recently nominated for 6 Texas Holy Hip Hop Music Awards which will be going down in H-town on the 24th of June.

"We sometimes get frowned on by critics because of some of our content matter...but we're not really concerned with all of that", says Crim. "We doing the true calling of the FM (Fishers of Men) when we getting this music out to the cats in my neighborhood who ain't trying to hear nothing about no church". "Really", says Redwine. "The music serves as a gateway for us to freely talk to our people about Christ... It opens doors, breaks the ice, especially with the teenagers and young adults, so we just offer straight hip hop music from some Christian brothers". That's Worldly Music!
