ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A Foreword by Composer : SistlaSuresh
“Music is an art that bridges barriers and boundaries. It is the purest form of art that can move human emotions and conquer the world . This is truly an offset of great imagination coupled with creativity. This art is truly an embodiment of the divine.”
Such is approach towards music and I play for my soul’s inner peace. This hobby translated itself into a passion after which there has been no looking back the last 16 years. A self taught musician by ear driven by passion is the phrase I would use to summarize myself. I have a keen acumen for different styles of music and indulge in myriad genres like Rock, Metal , Indian classical , Jazz. My music is highly inspired from the biggies like the The Beatles from the west, Maestro Ilayaraja from my very own land and many more. I have been working on jingles and own compositions which has led me to bring before my first album “The girl upstairs” . My music is truly a tribute to all the people that enjoy the notes and tunes and wish to take music beyond a hobby

The Team :

A Must Listen For All Kinds Of Music Lovers !!
This is one of the few albums that work in totality. The compositions are fresh, but still manage to create nostalgia of the past musical years , especially the golden years of the Maestro Illaiyaraja. The genius of the composer lies in creating these amazing tunes where the East meets West in a modern fusion setting, that utilizes both classical and electronic instruments. The composer has successfully realized the need to satisfy both, the staunch fans of yesteryear music and the fans of current pop genre. The lyrics, take a special mention, where they convey the emotions of the lead pair so poetically and still manage to blend so well with these mostly soulful tunes. The lead singers do a commendable job of presenting these melodies.
Track # 1 will definitely catchy and is bound climb the popularity ladder in no time.
Track # 3, is a beautifully rendered song by Sushma, the female lead singer for most songs. It is an amazing composition , sounding like an East Indian Jazz piece.
Track # 10 is the essence of the album. This is a fusion score with beautiful Alaap vocals by the lead singers, and the use of Traditional Indian instruments work wonders.
Track # 8 is a very classy attempt of creating a western Ghazal.
Overall, definitely worth owning, if you are a fan of MUSIC.

Mesmerizing Music
Well , I can't think of words to write this review. Being a connoisseur of music,I am indeed stirred with a new found zest to explore my creativity and imagination. This is exactly what this album has done to me and I am sure you will feel the same. The music is reflective of the creator's vision and extreme respect for composers of the yesteryear. The notes bring back fond memories of the past and the simplicity and the ease of execution is what makes each song stand out. There is an effortless blend of the voice of the lead singers with the composer's beats making the song sound seamless. Special mention to be made for track 7 where the rendition is superbly flawless. Not once did I feel i was listening to a track, instead I thought I was in a LIVE show. The song does full justice to its energy levels and different strokes of notes. A big bow to both the singer and the composer for having woven this piece so elegantly. My personal favorite happens to be track 3 which invokes in me a feeling of freshness each time I hear it. The lead singer's voice comes with crystal clear clarity which is indeed refreshing. Overall, a stupendous effort by everyone who has been a part of this album. It takes a few handful of talented and passionate artists to create Legendary Music. Wishing and hoping all the best for the team and the movie. They couldn't have got to a better start...
