Album Notes
The Harvest is a Vancouver, BC based original rock quartet which brings together a wide variety of styles and influences, wearing them proudly on their sleeves. Touching on styles such as: Roots and modern rock; punk; country; blues; and ska, The Harvest tags every song with their unique flare for music and playing. The Harvest's debut album, Bumper Crop, is available on iTunes and Puretracks. Released in 2005, it captures The Harvest in their early beginnings in Vancouver, having moved from Victoria. A second release is being worked on at Aurora Studios, where The Harvest also calls home base in Vancouver. Currently an independent band, they know that hard work, persistance, and a love for making memorable music will pay off. For its members, and its fans. Not everyone has the opportunity to create music, and The Harvest subscribes to a philosophy in which it is their responsibility as musicians to write, record, and perform real music for those who cannot themselves; and for all who seek out the real music. That, and for the rush you get from playing live.
