The Jarheads

by The Jarheads

Album Notes
For the past six years, the Starkville based band, The Jarheads, have honed and perfected their unique style of music, carving out their own place in the Mississippi music scene. Comprised of singer/guitarist Grant Beatty, bassist Adrian Lewis, and drummer Collin Whitten, the Jarheads provide a sound that pounds and screeches it's way ferociously into it's listeners ears while maintaining pop sensible melodies by drawing influences from artists ranging from Sonic Youth to The Thermals.

The latest album from The Jarheads, The Jarheads, is their third and most mature release to date. The Jarheads is a stunning coalescence of the members of this unique power-trio into a work that definitively represents The Jarheads as the band that they were, that they are, and a sign of what is to come as this hard working group of young Mississippians continues to grow into a punk rock force to be reckoned with.
