ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Growing up in rural Iowa, our summers included lively bluegrass festivals. Though we did most of our listening while splashing in the river, we inherited a love for the traditional, American music that surrounded us. With classical music training as a foundation, we taught ourselves guitar, mandolin, banjo, and bass. For the sake of good music, we didn’t limit ourselves with genre or instrumentation, but chose the tunes we enjoyed the most. This led us to songs ranging from traditional bluegrass and American folksongs, to Celtic tunes and Irish ballads. So, whenever we perform, we hope to spread the joy that music has always given us.

Great tunes
Hands-down this is my favorite album. Great mix of traditional blue-grass, folk and Celtic music with interesting arrangements. The musicians are fabulous with beautiful and fun vocal chording and exceptional instrumentality.

The real deal
Loved this album!!! These guys make music that shows off the old-world Folk origins of American Bluegrass. The similarity of the three sibling voices creates incredible harmonics and the tight fraternal harmonies on "There is a Fountain" are so hauntingly beautiful you can almost smell the peat campfire. Incredible musicians showing their love for the genre. Love it Love it Love it
