ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Pucketts are a husband-and-wife indie folk duo whose original music marries the smoky, dark harmonies of The Civil Wars with the whiskey-warm yearnings of The Head and the Heart. The Pucketts are currently based in Chicago, but hail from Atlanta, Georgia, where they acted professionally before pursuing music full-time. On February 1st, 2013, they will release their first EP, Blood Oath, a preview of which Positive Feedback Online said:

"Blood Oath, the eponymous title track and I Will Carry You, have the kind of irrepressible hooks that have you humming them long after the music is gone. And Julie's smoky/sweet voice really shines on the a capella piece November '91- I've tried pretty hard to fine another singer with similar qualities- there's no one else out there who makes a really fair comparison, and it's truly unusual to hear an original voice these days."
