ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Love, war, betrayal, lasting friendships, technology.......all these themes appear throughout these original compositions with strong musical performances paying homage to some of the great groups of the 60's and 70's. There is also a unique arrangement of one of the classics, "A Whiter Shade of Pale", that features additional lyrics rarely heard, along with a mighty church organ, and violin like guitars soaring to new places. All of this with two lead vocalists sharing the honors on this great song. With some band members having spent time working on other projects with superstar producer Jack Douglas(Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, John Lennon) you can rest assured the guitars on this record will reach out and bite you. Electric, acoustic, and slide guitars all supporting these outstanding lead vocalists and back round singers.

T-Rock

A classic band serving up a great offering
For those who don't know, The Strays were a legendary classic band from Brooklyn. At one point back in the 70's and 80's, it seemed that you couldn't drive anywhere in the tri-state area without seeing a Strays bumper sticker on someone's car.
Anyway, The Strays are back and sounding better than ever. All of the members have grown in the ability to write tunes that immediately grab you, as well as thier ability to play, harmonize, and produce great sounding recordings. There are no screaming vocals or guitar pyrotechnics that get in the way of the solidly recorded songs. Instead, it is a recording full of strong, confident playing and classic song writing supported by excellent vocals and guitar. Highly recommended.
