ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The 50’s is a decade rich in music to revisit - a time before electric guitars and amplification changed popular music forever when the emphasis of the music was, quite simply..... .....the voice.

America’s ‘Street Corner Soul’ was an accessible and organic way to make music and raised more than it’s fair share of vocal groups with Doo-Wop being the focus.

The TestostaTones are a modern yet authentic Doo-Wop family quartet formed through a love of 50s harmonies and vocal groups.

They have been described as the missing track from a Scorcese movie and cover most of Doo-Wop standards as well as some hidden gems but also write their own originals songs today in a style they have termed New-Wop.

Back in the Day is their first E.P. and they are currently promoting it live and through digital distribution.
