Album Notes
They Went On is:

James Rioux--composition, production, piano, drums, keyboards, bass, guitar, trumpet, glockenspiel, noises, etc…

Connie Cho plays viola on track 1 (Thank you, Connie, for playing in F# major and letting me mess with your beautiful tone).

A special thanks to my wife Amanda for constant consultation and for playing vacuum on track 5. Many of her ideas can be heard here; the missteps that remain are my own.

Note on track titles:

Track 4 is credited to Mark DeCarteret and Amanda Rioux, track 3 to Amy Wright, and track 10 to Dow Mossman (from his Novel, Stones of Summer). Thank you, also, to Ben Moulton, whose titles, although not inevitably used, inspired me throughout.

Track 6 refers to the tattoos on my retired greyhound Duncan's ears.

DNF is a greyhound track term meaning Did Not Finish.

This one is for our departed companion, Teddy, an Italian greyhound also known as Professor Crumblebum, and dogs and their lovers everywhere.

Thanks to all my friends and family for their support. None of this is possible without love.
