ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
After releasing their EP "The Beards of Kings" in 2010, and a full-length album "Nuclear Years" in 2011, Things Behind the Sun swapped some members and started writing in a bolder direction. "The Family Fortune", a five-track EP, was recorded in a staggering three days, and was released in early August of 2012. The album starts off with "Over It", which captures the sound of TBTS that most fans are accustomed to. From there, however, the album moves toward an edgier, anything-goes sound, which was an absolute blast to record in the studio.

Things Behind the Sun would like to sincerely thank Grant McFarland and Carson Slovak at Atrium Audio for their incessant labor, incredible patience, and invaluable insight in creating this album. We'd also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Jason Kim, Neil Spencer, Stephen Lavender, Alex Anstett, Alex Goodman, Ryan Feister, Nate Burchill, John Tabor, John Moses, and of course our family, friends and fans. Nothing we do would be possible without all of your support and encouragement. Thank you.
