Album Notes
(adapted from liner notes)

Greetings Music Lovers,

Well, you are about to do it! What you will hold in your hands is a party wrapped in cellophane. Whether you've seen these guys perform in their home town of Lincoln, Nebraska or elsewhere on the road, you know it's always a party.

The songs on this collection show off the fact that the Tijuana Gigolos can play, sing and write songs with the best of 'em. Their wide span of Americana music styles ranging from Tex-Mex, Country, Rock, Blues and even Cajun is something that sets them apart from the pre-packaged, digitally sampled caca de baca (translation B*llSh*t) that litters the radio airwaves today.

So... if you're dancing, driving or knocking back some cold ones with friends, take time to enjoy the gigolosity of The Tijuana Gigolos.

loved it - great in the car!
I saw the band down in Eureka Springs, Ark., and had a blast! The album has a hillbilly hipster kind of thing about it that makes it great for driving and singing along. A nice blend of rock, cajun, r&b and what have you. Highly recommeded

The best CD of 2005
Probably the best CD that I bought in 2005. Great original tunes and a gem written by Dave Alvin. A strong album start to finish. Hard to beat Rock and Roll from Lincoln, Nebraska.
