Album Notes
I started playing harmonica at the age of 14. Growing up in Brownsville, Texas, I was exposed to some of my musical heroes like George "Harmonica" Smith, Little Walter, Charlie Musselwhite, Paul Butterfield, and Lee Oskar. By eighteen, I began my professional career playing around the state of Texas performing with rooted South Texas players that were very influential to my musical journey.

Continuing my journey, I moved to Nashville in 1992, where I was privileged to perform with such country artists as Ronnie Milsap, Doug Stone, Toby Keith and Pam Tillis; I've also performed with blue's artists like Sam Lay, Mark Selby, Anthony Gomes, Larry McRae, Chubby Carrier, and Burton Gaar. This led to the formation of the All-Pro Blues Jam, where all the best blue's artists and musicians come to share their music and experiences. Little did they know, these talented players, along with friend TC Davis, would help inspire my vision for this project. From blues and jazz to Latin blues, my dream has come to life.

Tim is currently Music City's Blues Harmonica player of the year for the second year in a row, and this CD shows why. From upbeat blues to Delta blues get ready to enter the blue's world of Tim Gonzalez.

Whether you see Tim playing live or on this CD, you can feel his soul.

Absolutely incredible!
I saw Tim and "friends" at the Jazz on the Lawn event at Beachaven Winery in Clarksville, Tennessee, a couple of weeks ago. I was hooked immediately and had to have this CD. It's A+++ and I will be looking for his next one!

Phenominal! HarpMan
Tim's Harp playing is just superb. I do not own it yet but I will. I heard Tim play the harp more than 10 yrs ago and was blown away with the energy, technique and feeling (soul) that he puts into his playing. Get this CD you won't be disappointed and If you geta chance go hear him live go and you will be amazed what this man can do with the harp.

Tim snatches the pebble from the palm of the Masters!
YOU HAVE TO OWN THIS CD! If not you'll blow an opportunity to hear a Master in the Making. Tim Gonzalez not only slashes leads in the Sugar Blue/Carlos del Junco fashion but he works the rhythmic side of the instrument like an electric Sonny Terry on a midnight runaway train! Get it now just to hear Straight from the Heart...which is Great from the Harp!

Great CD !!!
I own tons of blues CD's, but my favorites are the harp guys. Tim's as good as any of them, and this CD has great tunes, great musicians, and a lot of originality. Buy it!
