ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Mysterious, unexplained phenomena surrounds us every day! Some people don't notice it, but, an alarming amount of people from all walks of life do notice and experience it!!

Some claim that it is real, others say it's just in our imagination. Regardless of your beliefs, you can’t deny the fact that strange things do happen with no explanation! For example, have you ever had the feeling that your phone was going to ring, and you sense it's a loved one or someone you are close with, right before it does ring? Was it a Premonition? Why do words like "phenomena", and "premonition" etc. even exist? Because it happens to normal people from all around the globe...a lot!!

Tim McGowan’s latest CD, “Phenomena – Legends & Myths”, won’t answer questions, but it will capture your imagination & take you on a inspiring inner journey, and may just have you asking your own questions at the journey's end!

Pete Havey, Mystic Soundscapes, had this to say about Tim's latest CD:

"This album BLOWS ME AWAY!
Seriously, what an incredible piece of work this one is. A lot of times subsequent efforts by artists fall WAY short of the mark, but with each album Tim McGowan has gotten better. This cd is definitely my new McGowan favorite - it's got it all - dream-states, chilled soundscapes, & inspiring riffs... I love hearing that guitar in his work - it brings a whole different level to the sound of this type of music.

One of my favorite tracks, & many of our listeners, from his previous CD “Kingdom” is “The Long Journey Home” & several tracks on this new CD have that similar powerful sound. It’s an amazing performance featuring Tim's signature musical stylings. His innate ability to fuse many styles & genres into one cohesive whole results in an album that, while vaguely reminiscent of David Arkenstone's cinematic storytelling, is in the end pure Tim McGowan.

Each song has its own personality - the album is mysterious, adventurous, intriguing & inspiring. This will become one of your favorites in the McGowan collection!

Check it out & be ready to buy, because you're going to love what you hear!”

It does worth it\'s price
When I listened to the samples I knew I had to buy this album and I do not regret doing so. Great songs from a great composer.

Excellent music
This is of the best contemporary instrumental albums that I discovered in 2008. Phenomena... takes the mind on a one hour vacation to mythical places. Tim is a visionary, a great story teller and a wonderful landscape musician.
