Album Notes
Tim Morgon walked into an empty coffee house in Balboa, Calif. in the fall of 1959 and started singing. He was asked to come back and sing for pay the next weekend. He was there for almost 6 years playing for packed houses, three sets a night on weekends and throughout the summer. He recorded 4 albums from 1963 to 65, and they all sold very well.
Because of poor management, Tim never received any compensation for the record sales, and his career was stifled. He was able to keep singing, headlining at the Ice House, Pasadena and Glendale, and clubs throughout the So. Cal. area with an occasional gig in the midwest. He sang voice-overs for TV and movies, and commercials and performed on stage for the last time July 31, 1981. Although he hasn't performed for over 20 years, his name is still remembered by his followers from the 60s and 70s. Now his fans can step back in time and once again enjoy the music that was a big part of their lives when they were growing up in So. Calif. You can contact Tim at tmorgon@aol.com, he would love to hear from you.

This brings back so many memories.....
This CD was always a favorite of my brothers and I. In fact, my brother named his daughter after the song, 'They call the wind Maria'! He will be receiving it today for his 58th birthday, after many years lapse of playing his LP record of it.

I saw Tim play in Long Beach in the 60s, at a special venue. I thought he was so handsome, and his voice so smooth! I will enjoy hearing my brother's new CD, but think I will have to order my own copy!

Thanks, Tim!

They Call the Wind Maria
Absolutely loved the CD, it took me right back to my 20\'s in Newport Beach! I also emailed Tim and we had a couple of very nice email correspondence. What a nice man, and with such a terrific voice. Thanks for the music and the memories...

Tim Morgan is a wonderful piece of So. Cal. Americana!

The best
My daughter gave me the best Mother's Day present ever by giving me this CD. I never thought I would be able to get CDs of Tim's albums. It brings back such great memories of seeing him at the Prison of Socrates in Balboa.

A really enjoyable album.

Timeless, pure and powerful
Having been the proud owner of several of Tim's albums dating back back to the early sixties, I knew in advance what was in store for me with the purchase of the CD version.

What can I say? The journey via CD's was a long awaited trek.

Now, after a long and hard life I can lay my well worn albums to rest and begin life anew with the CD versions.

The tracks are as meaningful and powerful as ever. Thanks for the encore Tim.

I think NIck and Mike Campbell said it all in ther review. In other words... ya, what they said.

I have to go now. I have six new Tim Morgon CD's to wear out.

Brought back wonderful memories undiluted by time.
The album brought me back to Tim Morgon concerts at Covina High School in 63-65. Absolutely loved the music and it reminded me what a terrific performer Tim was. Enjoyed it so very much. All of the songs on this album were the ones that I remember so fondly. Glenn Clarke
