ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
TOYS is an album about childhood and innocence, partly based on my own childhood experiences, dreams and memories. I tried to create that childlike with music box sounds, wistful melodies and musical quotes of popular children's songs and stories such as Little Boy Blue, She'll Be Coming Round The Mountain and the Big Bad Wolf and the Three Little Pigs. I very consciously tried to give the album a dreamlike quality, as it drifts from one song to the next with abstract and poetic lyrics. It's my hope that TOYS will provide listeners with a unique and spiritual experience that they can identify with.
