ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Tim has always had a love for smooth jazz and has played keyboard instruments only for his own enjoyment, but after 45 years of playing music written by others, he decided to give composing a try. Tim is now playing keyboard in a group called The Mississippi Blues Mafia featuring Dale Rushing, an Elvis Tribute Artist.

Fantastic
Tom Soper certainly puts the "smooth" into this album -- and the excitement. He magically creates the sound of a nice, tight, live combo that's been playing together so long they can read each others minds. The music is precise, yet has an amazing spontaneity that brings it to life. And the sound is such that it is hard to believe one guy, rather than a group of talented studio musicians created this.

I was instantly reminded of a time, back in the 60s, when I had the pleasure of hearing Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass; no, the CD is not the same style as the Tijuana Brass -- but Soper puts the same electricity in the air and the same thoughtful, professional delivery behind what he’s doing.

In short, Soper gives the listener one fantastic album that's a real gem.
