Album Notes
The Mountain Park Old Time Band brings forth a sound that predates what we know as "Bluegrass Music". This music conjures up thoughts of the moors of Scotland as well as the emerald green pastures of Ireland - a sound that that has been heard in the mountains and valleys of North Carolina and southwest Virginia for centuries. Their timing is impeccable, their vocals as pure as the breeze on a brisk mountain spring morning. I challenge you to keep your feet still while listening to this recording. Whether you consider yourself a fan of "Old Time" music or not, this is one labor of love you should consider adding to your record collection."

Wayne Taylor, Member of "Blue Highway" and 2001 SPBGMA Bass Performer of the Year.

Tops for Old Time Music!
This band is going to be our favorite. So glad to have you back Johnny and Nancy!! I hear the bass being played like a drum. We have missed your great talent with the Old Time Music and all of the delightful toe tapping music. Will see you on the dance floor soon.
