ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Very enjoyable and full of nice tunes"
–––– Stefan Grossman

"...His guitar is talon sharp and his observations are as cuttingly true as any eagle's beak...Walker's shimmering steel slides and fluent picking are highlighted by rough pipes and a harmonica rack worthy of John Hammond. The atmosphere is so Delta that you hear the weevils munching, the ancient rocking chair tipping back, the throat scalded whiskey burn and the magic of 10 fingers on 6 strings!"
–––– Mark Gresser...Long Island Blues

"...If you loved his last CD, you'll love this one as well...Strong blues sensibilities...effective sense of humor...whether he's engaging in finger picking, slide guitar or blues harmonica, the instrumentation is always tasteful. He has recieved a number of awards over a very impressive career and this CD gives a nice taste of why.
–––– Richard Hughes....Good Times Mag

Heart and soul unpolished blues!
This is an amazing collection of raw blues that is the poetry and story of one man's adventures in life. Toby connects everything that is blues as if he grew up danglin' his feet in the Mississippi River watching the paddle-wheelers cruise by. His ability to translate what he has in his head to his guitar, harp and lyrics is a testament to how gifted an artist he is.

dave stott

awesome guitar work !!!
awesome guitar work... the man has to have more than 10 fingers.....

then combine the playing with his harmonica and it makes for great blues.... sign me up for all the rest of his CD's.
