Todd Calfin is a wandering minstrel, in the truest sense. During the past 20 years, he has shared his shakuhachi flute music in 80 countries world-wide and lives entirely on trust, love, and gratitude.
He has serenaded the penguins in Antarctica, the snow monkeys in Japan, the elephants in Kenya, and the dolphins and whales of Hawaii.
He has offered his flute song inside the Taj Mahal, the Pyramids of Egypt, Machu Picchu, and at the feet of the mysterious Moai of Easter Island,
The shakuhachi is a 6th century bamboo flute played by wandering Zen monks. It is believed that breathing through the bamboo can induce 'SATORI' . . . Instant Enlightenment!
The entire album, Forever Ever Land, was recorded in one sitting, in the order that you hear, during a cosmic, candlelit night in Angkor Wat's ancient echo chamber. All songs composed, performed, and recorded by Todd Calfin, and accompanied by a delightful chorus of jungle crickets.
The intention of this album is to inspire Global healing, meditation, and exploration.
It is never too late to live your bliss!
