ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Since moving to New York City in 1990, Todd has performed and recorded with a diverse group of artists including The Spin Doctors, Buddy Miles, Ivan Neville, Winston Grennan, Adam Holzman, African Blue Note and Richard Bona, to name a few.

He was most recently a member of Ani Difranco's touring band and appears on her double live album "So Much Shouting, So Much Laughter," and her latest studio effort, "Evolve".

"Todd's work draws influences from Jazz, Funk, Rock and African music. His playing displays an introspective vulnerability, a poetic sense of space and an undeniably romantic lyricism. His writing stretches genre boundaries, establishing an exciting benchmark for the future in instrumental and experimental music."

"Seasons" features Todd's working quartet, which has performed in various clubs around New York City for several years. All of the tracks were recorded 'live' in the studio and all of the first takes were used. Blending Jazz, Rock and African rhythms, Todd's original writing demonstrates a unique style, which transcends the typical Jazz format.

The players on this record are guitarist Rob Reich, bassist Tim Givens and drummer Aaron Comess.
