Album Notes
Tom has handpicked his dream team of musicians to bring to fruition his much anticipated new CD.
The team includes the effortlessly groovy LA musician Will Kennedy, best known as the drummer of the Grammy-winning modern jazz group, The 'Yellowjackets'; the suave and sophisticated Steve Allee, one of the most versatile pianist/composers on the scene today who has recorded and performed with Rufus Reid, Randy Brecker and Slide Hampton; New York City bassist James genus who has toured or recorded with some of the greats of our time including Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea and Michael Brecker and can himself be included in the list of greats; and finally Samite, the amazingly spirited Ugandan kalimba player / singer. Capturing the magic is Grammy - winning engineer Woody Woodruff, best known for his work on Natalie and Nat King Cole's iconic 'Unforgettable'.
