Tom Catmull and the Clerics

by Tom Catmull and the Clerics

Imagine a Texas raised singer/songwriter fronting an Americana band that insists on burning down honky-tonks in Western Montana. There's pedal steel, Accordian, and all kinds of acoustic hooplah all over this thing.

Clever Country Soul as expected
Again, Tom Catmull and his crew pull of a great CD. I love the lyrics and sound...a soulful kind of country. Introspective and happy, sad and thought-provoking. I find myself having to put away the CD for the fear of over listening to it. Brings back so many memories of Missoula! Thanks guys!

I am as happy as a little girl!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought the songs where just what I would expect from an artist with the level of talent that Tom Catmull and the "boys" have. I was ready for this cd, and I can honestly say that it was well worth the wait!

good ol' Montana bar music...but hip
I loved this CD- it's the perfect blend of a hip new folk album with good ol' Montana bar music. Love the honky tonk flavor...

These guys are damn good!? Along with Tom Catmull, the Clerics are: John Sporman on bass; Gibson Hartwell on guitar, pedal steel,Travis Yost on drums. Good energy. Band on the rise. Hope they can play in Sparks NV. soon. Well worth the money for the CD.

A great time for reliving a rockin' concert. Thank you

Not a bad song on the CD
From the solid Austin-influenced finger picking of Sail On Gone to the killer accordian work on Big Tears, this CD should be in the collection of anyone listening to ecclectic Texas folk country. One of the most enjoyable CDs I've heard in a long time.

Dave from Missoula

My kind of stuff.
I really like the varity from finger picking, to flat picking, and the pedal steel guitar. I already have East of Opportunity. The best musican in Missoula by far!
