Tom Dae, Singer/Songwriter, Musician, does well, to send a message and capture the emotions of the listener, in reflecting issues in real life situations and issues.
Throughout the years, He has attempted to reach the public with Meaningful Lyrics and a sound and production style of variety commercial top 40 radio.
There is a purpose and an important message, as well as lessons of life, to be learned in Tom's Music.
In a style sounding Like Neil Diamond, Elvis, Billy Joel, or your favorite Country, or Dance Rock Groups, Tom can be serious or even create satire out of real life situations. Tom may sound like many different and diverse artists, and so it's difficult to totally separate his style into one specific category.
Upon listening you will find that a lot of the lyrics will probably fit you. You will appreciate these songs identifying with many of your own personal life observations, experiences and feelings.
Originally from Rockville / Vernon, Connecticut. Tom, in his early years, Formed his first band, and released his first record at seventeen, as a sophmore at Rockville High. He appeared live at "Record Hops" for WDRC, WPOP, WHYN, and several times, on The Brad Davis TV SHOW, and had songs played on Dick Clark. He formed a new 5 piece band that had performed throughout Southern New England and New York with this band then known as Tommy Dae and the HIGH TENSIONS throughout the 60s. Tom also backed and recorded a female vocal group and called them the "TENSIONETTES".
Tom had worked as a sound recording producer in Al Sojkas' Studios in Sommers and Stafford Springs Conn, and with several recording labels Jody, Time, Glo, Atlantic, Diamond. He also then Formed his own record label in the early 60s, with his dad, and named it HITT RECORDS.
Several records were released, " Lost Horizon", "I'm In Love", "It Was A Lie", "I'll Be Coming Home For Christmas", "You Made Me Cry", "Janie", "That's The Way Life Is", " Lookin For A Summertime Girl", And many others not listed here.
"POOR MAN", and, " I SHALL WALK",under (Tom dae "Turned On")Have been found on the Internet as collector items.
Tom had a very active weekly schedule, Playing as a Single on some nights, a Duo or Trio, on others, and with larger groups on weekends. This all in addition to managing a Night Club The "CAVERN CLUB", and booking other bands. In the 70s he formed a lounge group, performing lounge circuits while writing and recording his original music. He named the group LOVE 70. In the Early 80s Tom Formed a Five Piece Rock/ Club/Lounge Group "AIRFARE", performing in New England, and, Did an overseas Airforce Tour.
Returning from the tour Tom paired up with female vocalist Karen Field and performed as the Duo "AIRFARE". They appeared at club gigs in the Northeast, New England, Northern Maine and New Brunswick Canada.
Tom, Has released several singles and albums over the years. After touring, in the early 90s, he Bought and opened the Silver Fox Club, now known as the "Dance And Eat" Night Club / "Club 63", located at the very end of Route 2# and Interstate I 95, the last US exit before Canada, now Exit 305, in Northern Maine, by the Houlton International Airport on the US / Canadian Border.
Music is Toms' (Favorite Hobby). In his spare time, he is now recording his music, and is returning to the Music Production Business to record Jingles, write new material, record himself and other artists. He is releasing the old and new original material for himself as well as others, on CDs.
