Album Notes
Tom Knutson is an songwriter/singer from the Twin Cities area. His simple acoustic based songs are a throwback to the 1960s, giving you 3 minutes of heart felt pop emotion in each song. His influences are very Beatlesque in nature, (especially the solo work of George Harrison and John Lennon) with leanings toward Jeff Lynne (ELO, Travelin’ Wilburys, and The Move), Roy Orbison, The Moody Blues (Justin Hayward), Cheap Trick, Big Star and Pink Floyd. Thus, his music is a unique blend to create his own style, yet has a familiar feel to it.

Tom's 4th release, "Time To Shine", is much deeper lyrically than his previous releases. Thoughout the musical journey is a search for inner peace, striving to be the real person that's inside all of us. As with his previous music, Tom maintains his classic pop sensibilities. From the catchy "What Color's Your Sky" and "Time To Shine", to the beautiful "Blow My Mind" and "The Oldest Story", Tom's music is always a pleasure to the ears. "Time To Shine" is classic songwriting with a hint of electric 12-sting. The music will take you away.

Time to Shine
Time to Shine is fun to listen to. My favorite song is What Color's Your Sky. Definitely a 'head-bobber'!
