ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Aletheia" is a Greek word for "truth." This is where Aletheia Records finds its origin (for you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free).

You see, this is the era of rap gospel, not gospel rap.

Have you ever heard of a tree cherry? A tree orange? A tree apple? No.

You've never heard that terminology because the foundation of the tree is not the fruit that it bears, but the roots that provide life to the tree to produce that fruit.

The foundation of all music and all musical styles have originated from God-given ability and has had its origins in the church.

Whether it be country, blues, rhythym and blues, jazz, rock, and even rap.

Music first began for God's own pleasure in heaven.

For this reason all music belongs to Him and to His...the church.

So the era of rap gospel was born because the emphasis of this style is not the music or even the lyrical delivery, but the gospel that brings life to all that accept it and choose it for themselves.

Peace.
