It's like Todd Rundgren meets Peter Gabriel." Living in the World" Is a Vocal POP album with driving rhythms and a Psychedelic sound. I termed the phrase "Positive POP" because it has a very uplifting sound.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
After Tom had played in several progressive rock bands in the early to mid 80's (Occult Science, Lost at the Fair & 4 Piece). Tom built a recording studio in Long Island N. Y.

Where he started recording his first solo album "living in the World". He later Built a studio in his home in Pennsylvania were he finished recording this album in 1990.

This album was not made into CD form until 2000 when Tom remixed the album and digitaly remastered it. This was a time when Tom was home recovering from knee surgery.

The album was not made into a CD in 1990 because Tom had some financial problems, also making CD's was a lot more expensive back then. These songs were written in the late 80's when Tom performed these songs in various clubs in New York City. He also performed them on his cable TV show in NYC called "The Shawn Thomas Show".

Tom had the stage name of Shawn Thomas back then. The "Living in the World" album is good old 80's POP or I should say Positive POP. It has a very up sound.
